Colorado College’s Club Sport policy prevents the school from
providing financial support to the baseball team for its first two years
and until we can show evidence of being self-supportive. We need
help from you to accomplish that goal and to encourage the college
to provide funding assistance after the two-year waiting period
expires.
Fielding a baseball team is expensive, and is especially costly in its
start-up phase. We have no team equipment now, and will need to
purchase uniforms, bats, balls, helmets, protective gear and other
necessary items. We need funds to pay the expense of transporting
the team to away games, and for renting a local field and paying for
umpires and field set-up and clean-up duties.
We would greatly appreciate your help in our efforts to reestablish
baseball as a competitive sport at Colorado College. Please make
a generous contribution in support of our baseball team. Donors
giving $150 or more will be thanked with an authentic CC baseball
cap, and donors giving $500 or more will receive a personalized
jersey.
We have founded the baseball team not only to create this
opportunity for ourselves, but also to provide the same opportunity
for future students at Colorado College. With your support, we can
